Clouds Passing

Though the twilight of Dreams may descend
And darkening fear overthrow Hope's reign
The light in our hearts cannot be extinguished
Just clouds passing across the sun

In cold fever we blindly search and grasp
Walking the labyrinth that is our heart
Seconds may become years and years turn to lifetimes
Like clouds passing across the sun

What is the sum of our lives - The grand equation
Maybe how many wishes we make come true
How many loves dwell in our wistful hearts
How much beauty lives behind our eyes

Maybe we resemble the sunrise
And we stand inside the ardent fires of Dawn
For we hold the magick of creation within
Waiting for clouds to pass across the sun

Those mystic, fleeting moments where we truly feel
And the cobwebs are cleared from our eyes
Where there is no separation between us
And we finally have a chance to become love
